Maryam Usman popularly known as “meemsy” or “fresh girl” is a singer that hails from the southern part of kaduna state,the microbiology graduate fell in love with music at the tender age of 9 when she joined a music band sessions in school. Touring her local environment,she moved forward in pursuing her passion for music when she joined “The voices” a group that helped improve her voice training in 2009. Even after then the the singer “meemsy” in the wake of graduating with a degree in microbiology in usman danfodiyo university sokoto she kept music as her priority and moved forward to work deep in pursuing her misc career.
All through her experience, she got hooked up with peGYamzee a super star hausa rapper who featured her on his single recent “MUN GAMA” (We Are Done) , she got inspired and decided to drop “ONLY ONE” as a glimpse of what she is capable of Offering.
