The singer took to his Instagram page to reveal how hearing the news of the highlife singer’s death left him devastated. Both singers worked together by making a classic remix to the track “Baby Jowo” so they must have shared a special bond .2baba went on and thanked the singer for creating beautiful music and being a source of inspiration to him. He also added that he feels honored to have shared a stage and mic with him
He wrote, “Devastated by the news of your passing. Dr. Victor Olaiya – maestro, mentor, legend. Thanks for the beautiful music. Thanks for the inspiration. Blessed for the honour of sharing a mic and stage with you. Rest in peace baba.”
